Prerequisites

  • Notion account
    Free plan is sufficient for most templates.
  • Google account
    Required for Sheets templates and live dashboards.
  • PDF reader
    For the walkthrough guide (we recommend Adobe Reader or browser PDF).
  • Optional: sample data
    Included in the ZIP — helps you verify formulas.

Step-by-step setup

  1. Download & unzip

    Click the ZIP download and extract the folder. You will find Notion JSON, Sheets file, PDF guide and sample CSV inside.

  2. Import Notion workspace

    Open Notion → Settings & Members → Import → Choose the provided JSON. Import will create pages and databases inside your workspace.

    // Tip: duplicate the imported workspace into your personal workspace for safekeeping.

  3. Open Google Sheets

    Open the provided .xlsx, make a copy to your Google Drive (File → Make a copy). Check that formulas are intact and permits are set correctly.

  4. Connect integrations (optional)

    If the template supports Zapier/Integromat, follow the API key and webhook steps in the PDF. For Sheets, enable sharing to the email addresses noted in the guide.

  5. Customize & verify

    Replace sample data, set your currency and tax settings (if applicable), and verify key numbers on the dashboard match sample CSV results.

  6. Troubleshooting

    If imports fail or formulas break, check the PDF Troubleshooting section for common fixes. If still stuck, open a support request with screenshots and your order ID.

Import failed — what now?

Ensure you're logged into Notion and have sufficient workspace permissions. Try again or use the PDF troubleshooting section. If still failing, send us your screenshot and order ID via support.

Formulas show #REF or #N/A

Open the sample data sheet to confirm sheet names and ranges. If values are missing, upload the sample CSV to the correct sheet and refresh the dashboard.
